well,free and relativly smooth!

you guys got to me and i had to do something.
i pay good money for stuff but i really like the challenge of doin it on the cheep, its a ham radio trait!!

so i looked into the air baffle,,and saw nothing,,so i figured it was disturbing the flow just by the openness and shape. if a piece of pipe replacing it works wonders why not a piece,INSIDE?!! so i cut a piece of flashing appx 5 in by 16 in. and rolled it up to 2 in and inserted it in the baffle and let go. it expanded out to a good fit and i could see straight thru,nice and smooth.

next i did the same with the flex pipe from the air filt, about the same size and put it back together,,CANT SEE NUTTIN!!

so,IF, it works at all its a stealth mod that u can pop out it 5 min b4 a trip to the dealer!

i must admit i think it sounds different, the weather is so terrible here cant do much else so as usual,,ill report back latr

btw i was going to cut a piece of 4 in vent pipi and snip the coupling edges but the flashing caught my eye and was so ez,,5 min job!

the alum flashing was cut a little longer than printer paper but its good enuf.

cut the paper top to bottom 5 in wide.

roll it up so its apx 2 in. u have a tube 5 in long.
let it expand out till its the size of the inside of the duct. 3-4 in

thats the size of the 2 pieces of alum i used,,,thats it!!!

i dont want to take it apart, 10 degrees!! and u cant see ANYTHING !!it looks stock!!
