Anybody keep the forward lean and add bigger wheel and/or tires?

Is it worth staying stock with the lean or raise the front and add larger wheels and tires?

Before we mounted the 18x9 Cepeks with the 295-70-18 Nitto's, we leveled the front end by adjusting the torsion bolts to 23.5" from the lower flange of the front fender to the center of the wheel. Also, we mounted Bilstein shocks all around with the 1/2" extended bump stops on the front. We drove it for a few months after we did this, but it was almost like the front end was a touch higher than the rear.

My wife and I both prefer the factory "rake" with the rear end higher. We installed the Warrior Products shackles and now it sits the way we like it. I have attached photos of the new vs OEM wheel/tire combo, the H3 with front end leveled (before shackles) and the way it sits now with the shackles. (We installed the shackles at the same time we had the custom paint work done....the shackles were painted black to match the rest of the u'carriage.)

I'm gonna do the same setup as you!

 

But I went with a 315/12.5/18 tire and leveled the front. I will try to post some pictures.

Would you have any more pics of your Raked H3? And, did you just recently mod your H3 for that forward lean? I like the lean .... Most don't. I don't know why.

Tires, wheels, shocks and raised the front end in mid-summer 2011. Added the shackles to get the rake back in spring of 2012.

Here's a few more pics, including one parked on a composite rock I got from Race Ramps for shows...
