Hey friends,
So my heat works fine in my h3 when on any other setting other than feet.
When on feet the blower still runs but hot air does not come out down below.
Not to sure whats happening here. Maybe a vacuum line to switch the flap to the feet. Anyone know where the vacuum lines are for the heater?

 

I think vac lines went out in the last century! the controls are moved with computer controlled stepper motors with position feedback sensors. how did we ever live without them !! they actually have can data lines going to them.


searching might show the location of them. I saw it here a while back.
one guy opened one up and fixed it,, miracle!

 

You probably have a bad stepper motor, they are replaceable. There was a thread a while back recently that discussed this.

I had to laugh when I saw your thread title, I never knew my 3 had a "foot heater". Thought maybe it was like heated seats?

I always thought the choices were floor, dash, and windshield.

 

Believe it, there is such a thing, heated floor mat... I don't need any, I wear socks and shoes/boots when I'm out driving in the cold weather...
