ok after reading several threads on here let me see if I have this right. I can upgrade to 285's without raising front end? but if I do want to raise front end I can do so by cranking up torsion bars, how high can I make my front end just by doing that and would I have to change anything else on suspension like shocks, I see that several people recommend the bilsteins, thanks for reading this.

 

You can turn the torsion bars up so the height of it doesn't exceed 24 inches. check this thread out on hummer forums
