i just bought an 05 h2 why cant i get the fog lights to work and no my high beams are not on

 

LOL I siad the same thing when we bought ours...those lights aren't fog lights, they are daylight running lights and they automatically come on only during daylight when the vehical is in gear and running...I finally figured it out when I read the manual..and sure enough i saw my husband coming down the road during the day and they were on.

 

Actually ,you did not buy real HID lights for your car. HID lights are a completely different type of light and do not work on a standard lighting system. HID lights do not have filaments, instead the work by ionizing gasses in the bulb by means of a high intensity electrical discharge like on fluorescent light.
