I recently purchased a 2007 H3, One of my fog lamps has a blue tint that has been driving me nuts. I've noticed that replacements call for a 9140 which are 40 watts. When I pulled the ones that are currently in the vehicle I noticed that they are the 9005 (100 watt). They are nice and bright, but will this cause any damage with the higher watt lamps? Any help appreciated, Thanks guys!
