wont shut off, till I turn the key 3-4-5 times.
all was fine sat. this morn I drive to town,park, turn off and pull the key,BUT , nothing changed! it was still running. put key back, fiddled.
does this all the time now.
I don't remember this on the forum?? b4.

edit,lAter, so it goes "ding-ding",with no key!!, it thinks the key is there. I check idle current and now I forget if the door was open si the 5 amps don't count, but it never dropped off to 110 ma. while unhooked I shorted the leads, just for luck!!
then I did close the door,got the normal 2 amps for a minute and it drifted down to 110 ma. ???and it shuts off...???for now.

what caused it to burp?? don't know.,,,yet

 

a final update to close this. the problem "went away", after I unhooked the batt cables. I have no idea why it started,or stopped.

 

You been farting around with wiring trying to get heated seats.

Could have sent stray signals while playing with the seat wiring.

Unhooking the battery reboots the computer when power is reapplied, clears the BCM of things it doesn't like.
