Default First heavy snowfall :-)

We got our first winter storm, with lots of snow and blowing snow, big snow drifts, so I had a chance to take the Hummer out and play. WOW, it is amazing in the snow and ice! This weather really make a Hummer shine! (Well, not really, it is actually covered in road grime and slush!)
Awesome vehicle in the winter. I've had a 98 Grand Cherokee 5.9L, 02 F150 4x4, 05 Toyota Tacoma 4x4, 07 Nissan Pathfinder, and a 07 Ram 3500 4x4, and this H2 is the best one I have ever driven! I was impressed how well it stops, it kind of catches you off guard sometimes!

HUMMER, like nothing else!

I can't say my 2500 Cummins Ram is a slouch in the snow but that full time FWD in the Hummer makes for nice driving in the winter.

If you look at my avatar you will see my H2 parked outside the lodge up on Mount Charleston last year after the biggest snow fall in the Vegas area decades. The H2 loves snow! The wife and I had a blast. Our H2 made for a very special day that we will always remember.

6 inches of snow here this morning and more coming down. My H2 just plows through it like no other 4x4 I have ever had.

yeah. i live in kansas, lots of snow. i dont know about you guys, but i really wish the h2 or gm in general, would invest in stability management. i drive my hummer in the snow, but got into an accident(could not stop, low tread tires) and ended up ramming a 2ft diameter tree at 25mph. bent up the front some, that was about it, ended up knocking the tree over

i got the drive the other car(2002 bmw x5) and i would say, even though it has awd and not 4x4, it was actually much better than the 05h2, mostly due to the amazing stability management.

owell =P

was that due to the damn ABS?
