After months of looking around i finaly got a truck that i was happy with . 04 pewter with 149k miles and feels better than alot of newer trucks i drove . The vin checks out clean but i need to run it at a gm dealer to see what comes up .... I have a million questions but ill save those for later ;-) .....

So it looks like this truck had the third row seat at one point and the spare tire carrir its the one that goes inside ill look on ebay later to see if i can get the outer spare carrier for a good price . Im happy that there was no airride on this one and the previews owner took off the factory radio and speackers and replaced with a jvc and
also replaced the two front head rest with a weird brand of dvd player headrest ROSEN its the brand ???? ...

You can usually find the external tire carriers on craigs for around $350. Personally I still think that is overpriced but it seems to be the going rate.

Ya, I really like the look of the external tire carrier. Glad mine came with one. And ya,they do seem overpriced.....Maybe check craigslist for one?

 

I agree, as much of a PITA they can be to open the rear hatch I would never consider taking it off and moving the spare inside!
