Well, I just left 4 Wheel Parts, and they said they tried to do it last week on another H3 and it didn't work.

So I left and called another shop...They told me to come in tommorow and they will throw some 35" Maxxis Big Horns on, and if it rubs I won't have to pay a penny.

Any thoughts about the Maxxis Big Horn... $800 for 4, that also includes balance, align, etc...

 

Are you running 315's without a lift?

I have 35's on my 08 H3 with no lift or torsion bar adjustment. I get some rub with full turn going into a driveway or parking lot with some speed. It is really not a big deal and easy to live with. Here are some photos.

son of a.... That looks good. When I bought mine I was gonna go straight to the wheel store and get 20's and 35's. I didn't because of the fuel milage. I'm thinking that I should have. Are those tires mud grapplers? That's what I was gettin. Are they as loud as they say they are?

jdysart what size and brand of rims you running...i cant decide to do the chrome 20's with 35's or do black and chrome 20's...i got a white 06

 

kidstuff - Thanks. Yes they are the mud grapplers. They are loud, but I have had much worse. I really like them and at this point will replace them with the same tires.

dschmit - The wheels are 20 x 8.5 XD Rockstars. My original plan was to do a Black H3 with Black wheels, but I got a great deal on the White with the chrome pack so I went with the chrome wheels. I think the Black/Chrome would look very good as well.

 

Both my H3 and my buddies H3 in this vid have 315/75/16s with no lift. As you can see no rubbing even at full flex. I have Mickey Thompson MTZs, he has Cooper STTs. Both are MADE IN THE USA!
