Finally installed my Supreme Lift/ level kit
I got the Supreme Lift/ Level kit a while back but didn't get to install it until recently.
I installed the 2" Delrin spacers and the lift keys then performed an alignment,
I'm still adjusting the torsion keys to get the ride I want but am getting close. The instructions say the the keys will provide 2"'s of lift at zero adjustment (sitting on the jack bolt cross shaft). They also say that you need to have at least 3/4" between the bump stops and the A-arms.
When I say I'm still adjusting the keys for ride I'm adjusting the height of the front so that when I cross a RR crossing I don't feel the A-arm bottom out on the bump stop (at moderate speed). We have a RR crossing that crosses the street at an angle and its rather steep so you have to slow to cross it, this is the one I'm using to set my torsion keys to. On most other crossing I don't notice the bump stops so good there.
I didn't check the alignment before lifting so cannot comment on where it was set. I noticed that after lifting the alignment changes from one side to the other was off so I think it may have been off even before lifting. It drove fine prior to installing the lift and now drives fine after the alignment. I set the toe at 1/16" in per side and the caster at about 3.25 deg. and all is good.
