install was actually easy...holds with automotive double sided tape...but because of the gas assist strut for the door the light bar couldn'y be mounted on the truck itself like it was designed for. I had to mount it to the bottom edge of the door itself. I also hard wired it in instead of just plugging it in the trailer plug.

 

I was thinking on one of those. Looks good. I assume that is 49" strip.Any possibility it could be installed above the rear window or at the top of the tailgate?

 

can't be mounted on top of window or on top of tailgate...the door narrows as it goes up...I tired to put it on top of the door but the strip was about 3"into each side of the side roof rails.
