When I close my air vent so outside air doesn't circulate it feels like it blows cold. I thought my AC was broken because it does it when its hot out and it comes out nice and cold. I asked a friend who also has a H3 and they said theirs does it too. Anyone know why this is?

 

How does cold air blow if the vents are closed?? I know if you push the recirc button (the button thats inside the speed-selector for the fan), that automatically engages the ac (if this is what you are asking..).

 

I didn't explain it very well, but that is what I meant. I never had a car that blew AC by pushing the circulation button.

^Ya I know I've never had a car that engages the ac when the recirc is pushed either; in fact, it took a heck of a long time for me to come to the conclusion that it does engage the ac lol. It was driving me crazy how the air was so cool; cooler than the outside air.
