hey guys me again. been searching through post for a few days trying to find an answer to my tire question but no luck. I have a 08 alpha with the factory chrome 18s and i was wondering if anyone has thrown a 35 inch tire on there? the rim is only 7.5 inches wide and most 35s suggest a minimum of 8.5in wide rim so not sure it would work out well. i know i can find 33s but was really wanting the 35s. any help is appreciated thanks

 

The most common OEM wheel on the H3 is 16" x 7-1/2" wide. Many thousands of us are running 35's with no issue for many years.
You should be fine putting 35's on your 18" x 7-1/2" wheels.

 

I would bet the 18" rims are like the 16" rims with a bead that is designed to grip the tire bead better, double-flanged or something like that. I'll have to google for a picture.

 

35's will fit perfectly on the H3X rims. A quick search found all of these photos, See Below.

 

was that a search on this site or like google? I went to photos on here and searched and pretty much looked at all the h3s and all the ones i seen had the after market wheels or i didnt see the tire size listed. thank you for the pics it helped me out alot tainter
