Dear All,
I am Italian and I use to cross the Sahara desert with my Hummer H2 !
The main problem is the gas autonomy…. !!!!
I need an extra tank with approx. 100 liters capacity.
Do you know if there is in USA a solution or do you have some suggestions
to this problem ?

Got to a boating supply, get a boat tank put it in the cargo area have a pump so you can stop and refuel yourself or tap it in to the filler neck and have a switch to do the transfer.

To live with 30 gallons of gasoline inside the car or on top of the head (rack)
at 50°C for many thousands Km.... it is an high risk !!
I think the good solution is to put an extra twin-tank is in the place of the muffler or behind the rear axle in place of the air compressor, but the problem
is where to move the exhaust and/or the compressor.

 

Talk to a good fabrication shop. Any desent one could make a custom tank for your H@. May have to remove the stock tank though.
