Hummer H3 – 2006

My exterior trim pillars on each side of the front windshield is pulling away at the top, they have both become unsnapped with the top trim.

Has anyone else had this happen? – What is the fix?

 

I just posted about this, my driver side started to lift. Hummer replaced all of my trim at no charge, not sure with yours being an 06 if you have any warranty left. Its worth taking it to your dealer to find out.

 

my H3T is doing that on the driver's side....looks like there is 3m tape under there that lifted.....

 

The '06 I just bought was doing this. I pulled back the weatherstrip on the outside edge of each side and found two screws holding them in place. The screws are in slotted holes, so there's some room for adjustment if you just loosen them, slide them into the snaps on top, and tighten the screws again. Whether they'll stay in place after repositioning them is anybody's guess.
