Extended warrentee?

RE: Extended warrentee?
I guess I'd have tomake that callwhen I come to it..., like everything else!
Why do you have such a problem with thisfeature? It didn't cost anything extra, butdoes havethe added possibility of a refund! All warranties work on a "what if'" basis no matter how you slice it! There are countless posibilities from "What if"the entire elec. system fries? to "What if" nothing ever goes wrong? and everything in between...., it's all just a roll of the dice anyway! Ifa person were tothink about it too muchthey'll just spend the rest oftheir life running around in circles chasingtheir tail!!
I'mgald I havethe GPR option & I wouldrecomend it to anyone as long as they understand how it works..., both the positive & negitive aspects!!

RE: Extended warrentee?
I didn't mean to get into a p*ssing match over this. Sorry if that's how I came across. You're right - any extended warranty (which is actually an insurance policy) is a roll of the dice. Some people get their money's worth, some don't. What you're really buying is peace of mind. With regard to the GPR option, it's something that intrigues some people and may be just enough to make the sale. Due to the scenario I outlined, above, I wouldn't be surprised if such options made the policy more profitable to the warranty company. My point is, I can't imagine not needing repairs outside the warranty term.
