I had a GMPP extended warranty on my 2003 H2, since it was a first production year vehicle. I never used it. Traded in my H2 (at 69,000 miles) on my new "08 H3. I passed on another extended warranty since the H3 has 4yr/50,000 mile bumper-to-bumper.

 

my GMPP has paid for itself about 3 times already, and i've never had any warranty work questioned by them, even a front hub replacement done by an alignment shop. sent them the receipt and got it all back except for my $100 deductible. a lot of warranty issues can be made easier if you've got a good service writer and mechanic, since they rely on their input to determine whether it's warranty or not. even covered in mud and withfresh boulder scrapes along the frame and rock sliders they've neverdeemed any repairs as abuse. this was one purchase i'm totally happy with.
