Extended shackles?

Extended shackles?

This may sound like a newbie question but if I were to get some extended shackles how would I install them? Do I need to jack up my h3 or can I just unbolt the stock ones and intall the new ones?

You will need to have a jack (or two), a pry bar/lever and a free hour. Pretty easy actually.
