Default Exhaust Tip suggestions...

Have any of you added an exhaust tip to your vehicle, if so, any suggestions on brand, type, circumference etc? It looks to me that the tailpipe is headed a bit in a downward direction instead of straight out, would a exhaust tip look funny covering?

Any thoughts..

I think exhaust tips look a bit tacky and cheapen the look of the vehicle.Some of the guys/gals on this forum have installed dual exhausts on their Hummers. I think Dennis installed a Gibson dual exhaust at a relatively low cost and it looks great. Just my 2 cents.

I'm with Rutdogg..I think exhaust tips look a bit tacky and cheapen the look of the vehicle. Especially Whistle tips!

You need to expend considerable effort to make a vette look tacky though.....Your vette does look great!

Did you ever see Sarah drivng it?..She looks like a hot momma for sure in it...Lady Godiva comes to mind[sm=gears.gif][sm=loveeyes.gif]

So what about these tips?..Are these the buzz bombs that the ricer's use you all talking about?

otherwise I think a pair of exhaust tips looks cool as hell out the butt of an H3..not practical for off roading I'll admit..

[sm=sigh.gif]Okay..since you're a fellow Cheesehead...

It is a Gibson..It cost around $350.00+ shipping for the aluminized model..I installed it myself in about 2 hours with removing the stock muffler in one piece.

There is a ton of information already posted about this and other brands too..Search in the Intake and exhaust section below
