Evans Waterless coolant
Hello from a Newbe form Utah.
I just purchased a 2000 H1 HMCO. I've been saving for this since 2005. Check one more thing off the Bucket list.
My biggest concern was the #8 cylinder cracking, and cooling issues. I have one of the "ZA" engines. I've looked into the head cooling kits and I see on this forum and others, that they have mixed reviews.
I ran across this product, on Jay Leno's Garage. Evans Waterless Coolant. There are two videos that Jay has done, that show what this stuff can do. It's not cheap, but nether is a new engine. If it works, its worth the cost.
It has no water in it, so won't corrode anything and it boils at 375 f degrees. Since there is no steam pressure, there should be lees stress on hoses, head gaskets, etc.
Has anyone used this in a H1?
