Damn, must be nice to be so fortunate and still in High School. My parents were always more "well off", but I'd be damned if they would have spent more than 2.5k on my first car.

I think they know better.

I do know of two folks in my school who's parents went all out for their cars.. sadly, they came in weekly with a new accident bruise and seemed to get a new car every year due to their accidents from drunken driving.

Great! For my school, seniors just drive a tractor or something to school. Keeps a nice long line for the students and possibly teachers. see boarding schools here!
