So I need some help here guys! My car is registering that I have a bad O2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 2- the downstream one), but once I got under the car and was looking at the problem, it's not that at all.

My wiring that goes all over the engine is burned right before the O2 sensor on that little white connector piece, solely because the idiot mechanics at my hummer dealership didn't secure it correct so it got burned on my transfer case from getting so damn hot and just resting on it. I really don't want to have to spend $1642.76 to buy a whole new wiring set up and then have to drop my engine to hook it all up.

Does anyone know where I can buy just that section, or a way to fix it somehow? To my understanding it's all one piece and if something like this happens you have to buy the whole piece.

 

Why isn't the dealer making it good..if the mechanic there caused the problem ??

 

Cuz the dealership I go to is crap.. they claim it wasn't their fault
