Hey everyone...

I'm having a strange problem with my 05 H2 with 60k miles.. First I'm getting Codes P0300 and P0305.. Most of the time its just P0300.. Second I am now getting P0442 Small Evap Leak detected.. Can these be related? I already changed the coil packs, plugs and wires... No change.. It seems everytime I fiddle under the hood the code stays off longer.. like 1-2 days after I reset it.. But If I just reset it, it comes in a few hours...

Can the evap leak cause an engine misfire code? Any ideas? I read on google to replace the purge solenoid?

Purge solenoid is a good place to start on the evap leak. That should not set a random misfire code. I would run some Techron or BG44k and see if that might help clean your injectors.
