I really dont know what to make of this all..according to this, Dennis, you are him are friends? I dont know what we are going to do about this...im clueless as to how my smallest forum creates the biggest headaches for me...everyday.

Please contact Hummerguy. He sent me a long PM unsolicited asking what the deal is as I seem to do nothing in his eyes. He stated that he is on a Scion forum and that few people on our sitee have a decent sense of humor. I have purposefully been trying to draw out Dilo as he has been nasty to me sine our last communication. I assume you reemed him back then. I inquired about his behavior to a higher up at the forum and he said the guy has issues once you get on his bad side. My post count was altered. I was right behind Importkiller and even started a thread as a joke. The numbers were changed the next day.
Marks remarks were dark and childish. Not to say a potential legal problem for the site. Please read all my posts you will see that although they are nasty at times I do not stoop to idle threats like Importkiller na now Mark. Please notice that my humor is above the heads of most of the guys on the thread. Dennis told us to keep it to the off topic area and I do so what is the problem.
I will be honest here I am not enjoying the forum so much anymore. It seem to be about constant thread about nothing and moderator's picking at the new guys.
I hope you do not cancel me as I think you need to look at the fact I might be a fresh (and angry voice) in a crowd of rigid rednecks.

I was in a hurry getting in late wiht my so and did not read your entire message. What do you mean I do not get along. I like Dennis, Hummerguy, Importkiller (yes I like him) and Jen. Fallz, I like shortbus but do not speak to him. I think you need to take a long look at who you have working your site. I am flabbergasted by the choice of Importkiller as a moderator. He is a redneck hater although very knowledgable. Impy is on massive painkillers and clearly not open or clear minded. Dennis is great and I would enrourage you to really ask him what he thinks of me as I get the truth from him a lot.
I frequent the site as it is like a family, Families are disfunctional and there will be arguements in all families. Please do not mistake my think skinned ribbing as be my true personality or self. I work at a prominent financial services firm in a high pressure job and use the forum as somewhere to unwind. You will note if you read my posts that I am passionate regarding the site and truely believe in free speech. I have many friends and feek you are being poisoned by a few narrow minded members. I have contacted members I see on the elcova site as well and they all think our site is heavy handed and overly compliant.

Have no concern...You didn't **** me off at all..The Admins got on our case about all the BS posts that had nothing to do with the Hummer topics..So I am just doing my job..Sorry if it offended you. The house cleaning was not directed at anyone specificaly..Just a general tighening of the rules because the Owners of this forum don't want it to turn into a free for all BS session like some other forums are getting to be like..And I agree..
We probably have the funnest and most friendliest forum pertaining to HUMMERs on the Net..It attracts some very smart and nice people like yourself and we want to keep it that way...You are one of the funniest guys on this forum and I want you to feel like family and have fun here as I do...

Like in anyones case...Diplomacy is the best weapon..I've tried just that with HG123 to see if I could strike a common ground with him and be able to speak with him frankly...If I started just singling him out he would throw a hissy fit on open forum bashing Mark or whomever...I didn't want to see that kind of trash talk..So maybe my approach was too kind and/or understanding...But the fact still remains, he rubs people the wrong way and he knows it too....I have begun to relize HG123 is a manipulator and plays people..so beware of his soft, it's not my fault tactics
As you Know now, that ALL his posts must go through me for approval before they are made visable to the forum...I have screened them all and as of TODAY, he seems like he's trying to make ammends here..I'll give anyone the benifit of a doubt...So as long as he continues on this new path to better relations with everyone, we may not have to deal with his old ways anymore..time will tell.
And on a last note...If you think in someway I'm not doing the right things and up holding a high standard for this forum, please feel free to UNMOD me..I'll understand.

He also had the other hummerguy pm me complaining about us maybe banning HG123! So i told hummerguy the whole story behind HG123, and hummerguys reply was "it seems to me that he is a manipulator"...[8D]

I think the best thing for everyone including you Pat..Is not to get all wrapped up in the drama here with this guy...He's run off a good friend of ours and will try I suppose, to continue to do that with others...Hummerguy (the good one) has said he reveled to him he has some program called "anonmosity" or something like that, that gives him the ability to put up bogus IP addresses...Maybe Patrick in your circles, you can find a countermeasure.

ok, first off he is a lier, manipulator and a coward. He sent Mark and email saying that I was sending him threatening emails. I sent him one email, a reply to the email he sent me, and it had nothing near threatening in it. I can send it to you if you like. He has also sent at least three members that I know emails complaining about me and trying to get them to rip on me with him, these members are now former members because he is still here. In these email he signed each one with a different name, this is the first time I have heard him called Dave actually. In the emails he sent me he signed them Dutch.
I don't understand the diplomacy crap to be honest. How many chances is he going to get? Big deal he comes back with a new screenname, once he posts we delete, I don't see the problem here. Come on enough is enough, he has been flaming me for months and he continually gets more chances, now he calls me a redneck (proud of it thanks) a hater and a druggie in a pm buts it's again ok...we'll give the loser another chance.

I understand your frustrations and dislike for the guy.
But, diplomacy is and will be our first line of offense or defense if you will and not crap...You are now a Moderator and a leader of this forum...It is up to you and us, to be that better part of a two way disagreement...So as bitter a pill as it maybe (since you take a lot of pills I hear ...J/K) we have to suck it up and be more of the role model than the role taker...

you know your line on diplomacy sounds a little French to me. You have been diplomatic and given him like 3 chances now...at least, at some point you need to draw the line between diplomacy and bieng crapped on. Why do you think Mark left? Truth is we are not bieng diplonatic to this guy, we are afraid of this guy...thats the ONLY reason he is still here. If he didn't have a IP relocator program he would have been gone two months ago. You can call it diplomacy but I still call it fear.....the fact that Patrick banned him once and he came back only to be allowed to stay because he will cause trouble if you ban him again proves my point Dennis.

the problem is that we have tried banning him, and with his masking program, there is no way to prevent him from coming back, shy of being nice enough to him that he wants to leave on his own..
i am currently talking to a few IP people about hunting him down and getting rid of him.

I disagree..I don't think Patrick or anyone is afraid of this guy..that sounds parnoid...And don't ever compare me to the
French again..no kidding!
What the problem with him is..we can't get rid of him as you say, it's been tried before..But each time he comes back, he makes bigger waves and discourages more people to stay active and during all that haggling with him, it give the forum a bad image even more, as most don't know about this guy like we know about him..so it looks like we are picking on him...Hummerguy had those very concerns, until he knew ALL the facts behind this. That's the problem Bush has with his bad image with the Iraq war, (I support Bush 100% BTW) because people here and abroad don't know the whole story and start labeling him a war monger (like the French, indeed[:@]).....So we don't need that image, especially if he can get back on and throw arrows every which way..Do you want to stay on this forum 24/7 to delete all his hateful posts?..I don't...So it's better to handle a guy like this with some form of diplomacy.
Anyways, By trying to work with HG123's better half or third or fourth..maybe, I say maybe..we can tame this beast within him and he'll either shape up, or leave on his own..I'm hoping for the latter..When all else fails, then gun him down like a snake...But 3 times is not a magic number..with Some people it takes 4 and 5 times before they get the message.

I understand what you all are saying, remember I have been doing this for a LONG time. We had a similiar situation on my board and what we did to resolve it was pretty simple and worked great in the long run because we kept out all the spammers. Why not make it a private board? Public can view but you must register and be approved to post. So all members would register, then the mods and admins would approve them. When we came across an app. that we think is him we search it out and deny him access. pretty simple and the good members will appreciate it because it al least showes effort on our part to keep the site clean, they have no idea that we are working on this guy so as it stands now the members here think we are just allowing him to run the board. Trust me I was on that side two days ago and that is what they think.There are a few members that I talk to quite often and that was one of their terms,"why do they let this guy run the board like he does" was their exact quote.
