Hello all... Brand new guy here...
I just bought my new H3 and am having problems with the driver side power window fuse and electric door locks fuse blowing intermintently. They last on an average of a couple days. Brought the H3 back to the dealer 3 times now.
Have any of you seen this problem? Or is it just my ride?

Also....
Where can I pick up a copy of an electrical wiring diagram for my H3? Would also like a GM service manual for it.

TNX.....

May be a dumb question but...Do you have an auto starter installed? Alot of time the auto starters also controll your door locks and your factory alarm, even could power up and down your windows depending on the model. I have had certain units cause fuses to blow in other vehicles I installed them in. If you don't have one installed then I agree on a short somewhere or could even be a faulty fuse panel, Had an electrical fire in my tahoe last year, under the dash caught fire and caused almost 3 grand worth of damage...all got traced back to a faulty fuse panel that was allowing fuses to arc.

Thanks all....
I got the Hummer back from the dealer and they said it's fixed.
They said it was the wires being pinched under the brake pedel. I can't say for sure if they are right or not. We will see.
Again, thanks for all of the replies and help.

This information is classified. You don’t have security clearance to access it.

Hey Crank, for someone who is new, you sure are creative with your signature. I like it.

Yeah...
I saw it on another site and thought I'd copy it.
Don't know which fuse that would be...

Every fuse is listed in the manual except for the on-star fuse and on-star only works when that fuse is operational.

It probably is a device called a "Fuseable Link"...which means it is an inline fuse in a wire harness somewhere..Only your service tech knows for sure..

Out of curiosity..Why are you wanting to disable the OnStar system?

Not to disable it, I was told that it is important to keep a spare fuse and to know how to change the on star fuse so the car can be located and/or the doors unlocked if we need that service.
