electric fan?
James at Supermodulation over on the Coly/Canyon forums has a complete e-fan setup. So does PCM of North Carolina (the old PCM4Less). I built my own system, but remember it does need to have a high cfm rating, e-fans are not as efficient as the mechanical fan although it frees up hp and mpg's.
The PCMofNC Efan for 2008+ models is controlled by the PCM, so you need a PCM tune to patch that control in. Wiring is to specified wires feeding specified pins under the fuse block. There is nothing to say you can't use the 2006-7 Efan kit, it is controlled through a sensor in a CNC fitting spliced into the lower radiator hose, then you do not need a PCM tune, and it too taps into the harness connections under the fuse block.
I have had mine for gonna be 6 years in Feb, I got one of the very first kits when released. Works flawless so far. It does make some noise when on as rsc points out, they have to move a bunch of air when called for. Between say December and mid March, it might actually turn on like a handful of times, usually when sitting in a drive through line/idling at length.
