For those of you looking at replacing your DRLs but are worried about how to mount them, here's a thread from a russian hummer club forum. You can use google to translate the page (in chrome), but in essence i think the pics are pretty self explanatory.

The only question they debate is whether it needs holes in the back to help dissipate heat, or it should be sealed up with silicon. Not sure if anyone else has any similar ideas ? Now as regards suitable lights, you can look at JW speakers model 6045 or 6050 - 4.5" and use them to marry up to the oem housing, or you can look on Aliexpress and search 4.5 LED mount and bring up a whole host of other versions at much cheaper prices.

I don't want to start a flame war about which to go for in terms of quality, made in 'murica etc.. but hoping this could be useful for those who have been looking to update their rigs.

I want to do this mod once i'm out from under the snow here in Moscow!
