hi. i have an intermittent problem with how the vehicle drives - it feels like it slips into 4WD on occasions - loss of power especially in reverse, stiffening steering, very responsive brakes. this occurs suddenly as i am driving then when i start it up the next day it drives ok for about 20 minutes then the problem re-occurs. now the warning light indicating a problem with fuel, ignition and emissions stays on!
the vehicle is a 2008/9 H3 luxury package, RHD, European market make and has done about 45,000 kms.
any suggestions?

 

Check battery terminals.

Bad contact maybe they are loose. Factory terminals sucxxxx.

Is not all the time the battery terminals but I always start for simple check points and move to more dificult ones. Battery terminals can cause different problems.
