No typos here...
Some little **** in an oncoming suburban in the on coming late threw on orange at my H2 earlier today. When i say threw, I mean, this kid was hanging half out the window in the back seat, cocked back & threw it as hard as possible. Too bad the piece of you know what didn't fall out. I turned around, but couldn't catch the little SOB. We were both going 45ish, but it was around a curve, so I think the orange didn't hit perpendicular, luckily. There's a very, very tiny dent, but it's only there if you know what to look for & it's not noticeable. I'm lucky it didn't do more damage.

The whole story sounds funny, but the thud it made stopped my heart for about 2 seconds.

People are mean these days.

Because of the current sad state of affairs in our country with our politicians spurring on class warfare, this sort of behavior is becoming more and more prevalent. The lack of respect for private property and just plain decency makes me sick to my stomach. I have been into sports cars for many years and I have seen it all and heard it all from both men and women.
It would have been good to get the license plate number and press charges. As much as I would love to kick their teeth in and handle things in an "old school" manner, it simply isn't worth the hassle and aftermath. I'm sorry that you had to experience such stupidity... What a bunch of jealous turds.

I would have been really mad. It's too bad he got away with it.

Guess instead of backup cams we should all be investing in dash cams...

I couldn't have said it any better. People of today have no respect for anyone or anything. I feel bad for future generations because it will only get worse.

The problem today is. People that are in the wrong are always in the right these days. They know that if you retaliate your punishment will be far more severe than theirs. It's the pussification of the world.

I've had people block me at gas pumps by parking their econo box with the front end facing the pump. When i told him what a $$$$n tool he was. He replied that i in fact didn't know how to drive and that i was treating myself real good.

Another time i parked the deuce way at the back of the lot and not vehicle within fifty feet. I was in the store for 5 min. And come out to a shopping cart rammed into the front of the truck.

I prefer old school. You step out of line. You get a smack in the lips. And then you show respect...

Very common in Russia, among other places. Only way to prove anything. Even if the OP got the license plate the other guy could just deny everything and with no proof you can't do anything. I've thought of installing a permanent dash cam, and sadly I think we are headed to the point where they become common due to necessity.

You just can't do things old school any longer. Bitch slap a punk for throwing an orange and YOU get arrested and probably sued.

This.

We are headed in a direction where without a car cam you won't be able to prove anything. Not sure about the US but here when a guy stops in front of you drastically for no reason and you hit him - it's your fault. He can always blame it on a cat or something else that just ran through the road thus making him brake the way he did and get your insurance in the meantime.

I really can't talk about stuff like this I get wound up immediately...

People really are jerks.
I was hoping to catch up & get their plate. I reported what happened to the cops, as if they give a damn. I'd be thrown in jail if I did that to a cop car. Don't get me started. Yeah, I had no plan to assault the idiots. I'd like to, but like everyone said, you just can't do that these days.

I wanted to get a 4 way camera set up like many of the new luxury SUVs for parking & just have them all record to an android head unit. I don't have the time / cash flow to really justify that set up right now. I'll do it in the future. In the mean time, I'll get a dual (front/rear) set up so that I can start recording now. I can always transfer it to another vehicle later.

Thanks for letting me rant guys.
