Well, my uncle is taking pics of the underbody of the Firebird. Keep it mind, it only has the V6 and is automatic, but the engine and drivetrain are fine. It needs new brake lines and a master cylinder though. I guess it's been so lnog since that thing has moved the lines are shot. That will be something new. I have done brake jobs, but never done lines and the master cylinder. I'm sure it can't be too hard in a car like that.

Anyway, I'll post the pics as soon as I get them. He has alot of body panels and parts he bougth to restore it to stock, but hasn't put them on He did most of the body work himself.

Also, he coated the bottom of the entire car with rust stopping black paint. He said he hasn't seen any rest since then. SO, maybe it will be my car I'm looking for. IF I work my *** off this winter getting it ready, I may be able to do this in the spring.

I have to get the exact year. You'll see it soon hopefully.

the master cylinder and brake lines are not tough to do...its just a matter of snaking the brake lines along the chassis, making sure not to kink them, but thats common sense...im about 90% sure that you will be able to buy preformed brake lines, but thats if you were replacing EVERY line. i am guessing that the "bad brake lines" are more likely the rubber segments that run to the calipers, from the metal brake lines...those are also sold in pre-measured kits.

Well, he told me the brake lines are all bad, so I'm not sure exactly what that means and now had, but he said he thinks the entire system needs to be done. I think he has alot of the parts.

By the way, it's a blue 1980 Firebird V6 Auto. That is the model.

Exactly, but not the TA with the square lights. It's the Firebird with the circle lights

BUT, the cool thing is, it's the same body as old BumbleBee from the Transformers movie, so if I take it, I'm 99% sure I'm goign to make it into a replica of that car.
