When opening up the right rear pass door, the door handle stays in the 'pulled' back open position. when you close the door it doesnt close until you push the handle back in ...

I thought it needed some oil, so i oil'd it up, but no luck ...

anyone have this issue before?

 

Mine did that until I lubed them up real good with PB Blaster.

 

I think it needs some lubrication.

Frequently servicing will such kind of problems.

 

short of dumping a half a can of WD40 ... still gets stuck ... has anyone ever taken off the door panel ? is it easy?

 

It's easy to remove the door panels. Sometimes the hold down clips will break and you might have to go to a GM dealer to buy some new clips. I know the front door panel uses 5 and they are about $5 each I think.
