Fifth or sixth tow to the service center. I'm sick of this damn H3 constantly taking a **** on me. I just got the thing just after Thanksgiving and the damn thing has been broken mire than useable. It just came back from service last week. I'm still under the 50k mark and have a 100k extended but I plain and simple don't trust this POS. It's too bad I really like that thing too, a very comfortable and cool looking DD. I see now why this nameplate died. Ugh.

Sorry to hear about all of your problems, but:

The HUMMER brand did not die because of any type of mechanical issues or service issues. The HUMMER brand acutally had very high customer feedback ratings equaling if not better than most luxury brands foreign and domestic.

It seems to me you either get a H3 with no problems or lots of problems. This was my main concern that made me lean towards the H2. Sorry to read your post.

I've seen mixed reviews at best for Hummer. I bought my H3 as I liked the style and found it comfortable for a DD. I think once it comes back from service this time it may just be getting the for sale sign. Too bad, I haven't had it for long but I sure don't trust it at all. No more gubment motors for me.

I agree on the no more GM statement for new vehicles. I will still buy Hummers, used Corcettes, etc but my new vehicles will be Fords. Sounds like you got a bad truck or a bad service center or both. The JD Powers customer satisfaction ratings on the Hummer brand was extremely high. Unfortunately you make a 100,000 of anything and there are going to be a few that need to go to the scrap heap. Had a brand new 79 Corvette that fell into that category. Sorry to hear your flight and certainly understand your frustration.
