Default Does your seat make a popping sound?

Noticed it in the past few days. When I come to a quick stop or accelerate from a stop I hear a popping sound from my driver's seat. I looked underneath and everything seem tight. Anyone else have this happen.

On another note, my wife has been driving the H3 more lately. I've been driving the TT...longer drive to work and better mileage. The more she drives it, the more I hear, "I like the H3." I have a feeling it's going to be difficult to get the Hummer back.

She probably messed with something under the seat..see if there's a beer can or a tube of lipstick banging around up under there.

I got really squeaky leather on my driver seat, whenever I move my butt back and forth it makes the noise ( like when I make a turn ), its starting to get reallyflippen annoying. I noticed when I put leather conditioner on the leather around the plastic panel where the power seat ***** are it goes away for about 2 days...then comes back[:@]. not sure if its the same noise your hearing, just wanted to vent a little[:@]

what have you been eating ? i suspect you have a build up of gas and when you move your butt back and forth the gas is trying to escape hence the popping noise

I had a feeling this thread was going to go this way. After all putting the words seat and popping sound in the same sentence was asking for trouble. :•)

No..the noise your are talking about is usually followed by a really bad odor[:'(]. this noise doens't produce any smell.

No?... It's more of a muffeled trumpet sound...
