Lightbulb Does your A/C suck?

I was just wondering how good the A/C for the Hummers were. I have had my 07 for approx 4 1/2 years, and have lived with it in the summer by driving with the windows down and all of that stuff, using it when its really hot out or when I talk on the phone. The A/C does work, its just the air that comes out isn't very cold. I was wondering how cold other H3's get. I got my A/C recharged today and am interested to see how cold it gets, and I'm praying that there isn't a leak anywhere.

I just checked mine with a thermometer in the center vent, idling in the driveway: 76° outside and 42° out of the vent. Cold enough for me...

Get a themometer and insert in center console vent, turn the temp dial to coldest, air flow dial to vent, recirculation button on, fan speed on low..

If you get 30 or more below ambient temp inside, you are doing good.

get yourself 1 of these, if you see 10
(°C) or lower, you are cool..

Compared to my 4Runner, both of my H3's AC work fantastic.

Adequate. It was mid to upper 90s today and driving around town the interior stayed comfortable. I've had other cars that would freeze you out if you ran the A/C on full blast no matter what the outside temp was.

Never had a problem with either my '06 or '09. The new one is Black and we're still comfortable even with the fan throttled back to low speed when it's 90 plus outside.

I have a 2007 and it works great.
We just had a week in the 90's and it was actually cold inside my truck.

We have a 2007. It is ice cold. Has been in the low 90's here for a couple weeks and it actually gets too cold with the air on. It's always worked great with no problems,......knock on wood.

Thanks!

Like I said before I got it Recharged and drove it home at night, I was a little worried because at first it didn't kick in right away but after like 3 minutes it got COLD. I could kick myself for not doing it sooner. My mechanic told me to keep an eye on it for the next week or so and see if it stays cold. I'm also anxious to test it during the day when its hot out.

Will buy a thermo and take a reading and post it.

Weird question.. but does anybody's A/C like hiss when you shut off the fan? mine will do it like once every 20-40 seconds..
I haven't listened for it recently but i remember hearing it in the past loads of times..
