I have the same monitor as you. I just slide mine in above the rear view mirror and headliner. I did add a piece of adhesive foam to tighten the fit and ran the wire along the headliner and donw the pillar cover. And now as you look at the rear view mirror, you also can see the monitor.
I think I may give the rear view mirror method a try. I think it's O.K.on the dash but not great, Also it's kind of wierd when backing up to try and use it where I have it located and also use the mirror

Don't have a pic but this should be an easy visual. I mounted mine behind the visor with velcro and ran the wire along the door trim. Yes the black wire is visible but not so much it's distracting. Haven't tried to hitch the trailer up yet but it doesn't look as if i can see the hitch with the cam to the extreme left side of the hum.

How did you interface the camera to the nav? I have an 07 H2 with nav., the dealer quoted me $1K, seems a little high given the camera cost. I have seen the discussion on COSTALETECH they have the unlock key for the nav., is there another solution?

I'm also looking into one that works with my nav screen.[sm=feedback.gif]

Hey, this looks like it might be OK, I called and left a message, I will let you know the cost, I am only really after the (budget version), although the TV tunner is nice, I had this in my BMW, it was pretty cool to hang out in the car waiting for the wife watching TV.

I'm unsure, as my local Hummer dealer did the entire install. I know that it utilizessome sort of Nav interface/conversion unit, becauseinitially, they had received the incorrect one, so my H2 had to remain at the dealer a few days longer than originally planned. Since the install, we've experienced no problems with it whatsoever, and it does certainly come in handy in those tight parking/backing situations...both on-road and off-road.
