I think i tracked the raddledown,its coming from the steering linkage. anyone had this problem?

I have a 08 damm it it should have the new part in it.
HOw i can i check my born date?

 

check the white sticker in/on your driver's side door frame...in the top corner will be the born on date.

 

I had mine fixed this Monday. It took them all of 45 minutes to fix the clunking in the steering, change the oil, and wash it. Service @ Sewell Plano knew exactly what I was talking about when I described the symptom.

 

I am going tommorrow moring to a local chevy dealer. I dont live near a hummer dearlership.
hopefully they get done right the frist time

 

I've got it at 9000 miles. Annoying but tolerable until I can get it in for repair. Thanks to the main thread for all the great info!!!

MY was replaced and it did not fix the problem offroad. on the road its not that loud,but i know its there. You can feel a tad on the road. iam thinking its the top half of the shaft going in the cabin
