Do you think there will ever be a Hummer wave like the Jeep owners do?

After having several Jeeps and doing the Jeep wave to fellow jeep owners because most jeep owners understand that Jeep owners are unique.

Well I would say the same applies to the Hummer brand. Well I will give it a try and see what happens. Here's waving at ya!!!!!!!!

I always wave to the other Hummers on the road. Usually the H2's ignore me.

I wave too but don't begrudge those that don't acknowledge. I can't say I've ever ignored an H3 owner that waved.

I had Wranglers and Cherokees for 20 years and always waved and got waves back 90% of the time. I have had H3's for about 3 years and maybe get 10% waves back from other Hummer drivers. I kinda miss that...not the Jeep's, just the waves.

What about the casual head nod? It's the new wave.

Maybe the Hummers are waving and you just don't see them. I know most times it's hard to see someone in a H3. Jeeps don't seem to have this problem, I can see them clear.

Could be. Small tinted windows may be the problem.

Great thread, I have had many hummer owners wave and many not, but it's just like riding a motorcycle, my brother in law thinks he is god and doesn't wave to anyone, but when someone knows his bike from the 70's he is all over it like flies on horse ****. I think it's a unique club all of it's own

I've joked with my next door neighbor on this--he's got a Jeep and get's "the Jeep wave" whenever I ride with him.
I told him HUMMER owners are above that and our "wave" is putting our nose in the air and making the hmmm sound as we drive by each other!

I took a recent roadtrip in my 2 and discovered that other 2 owner's are snobby and won't return a wave. I had three of them drive past (coming toward me) and I flash the lights to say hi. No response. BTW--all three of the 2's were black in color, so maybe it's just the color. But as soon as an H3 drove past me, I got a wave!
In general, I've come to believe driver's of 3's are much friendlier and connected to their rides than the 2 owners who seem stunned and better than thou'!
Boy, am I going to be kicked out of "the 2 club"!
