But whatstrikes me as funny, isthat of all the racier topics posted, this one, right way, draws the "should we delete itflag", from his single harmless post. WTF!?
I'm thinking you meant me here..The only reasons I asked was because..1. I've seen where these topics can lead from prior experiences on other forums I've moderated and it ain't pretty...2...I knew the guy was a hit and run poster (probably the VA.Tech thing inspired him)...3...I said that this is a HUMMER forum and I know for sure that some people want to only discuss nuts and bolts of the HUMMER...4..I, above all my personal feelings and views, want to keep peace and tranquility amongstmy friends here..

In conclusion:..Again, I commend everyone's restrain and maturity at keeping this a good and friendly discussion.

Personally I think this thread WAS mature with the exception of the Iraq comment which had zero business in there, again, my opinion. I dunno about the rest of the folks who have expressed their views in this thread but I think everyone who has did so in a respectful, constructive manor without cranking down on anyones beliefs or feelings. I for one NOT being a religious person find YOUR (as in religious folks) thoughts interesting and I enjoy your opinions and insights. I don't necessarily agree with them but I can still respect them ... and again, opening ones self up to other peoples points of view, as misguided as they may be in your opinion, is what having an open mind is all about ... All in all, this has probably been one of the more interesting off topic threads I've seen in a while .. minus one Iraq crack that I at least think was unnecessary!

I too think that the basic jist of the replies were fine. As an admin at one off road site, and a member of several others, I've seen topics of religion "go to hell in a handbasket" really fast.

I'm not saying that's what heppened here etc. But in a live and let live mode, sometimes it's just better to pass up a topic that you have no vested interest in, and let anyone who might, have their conversation. I just don't see any point posting something along the lines of "I don't believe in this, or I don't think this belongs here".. or "I hate having to read about this here" ... LOL, hello, no one made you read it, you chose to. If it's not your cup of tea, then simply move on. That's all I'm saying.

Is it spam... yeah, probably. He'll probably never post here again, and probably doesn't drive a Hummer. But as an admin, I have to delete spammers all too often. They post 50 links to **** vids etc, .. I wish they would post something this harmless so I could pass it by, without having to delete it, and ban their IP address. I'd welcome a spammer who posts: "I like the beach, and swimming in the surf". It sure would make my job easier.

I see your points fireman, I really do! But in all honesty here .. I think this thread turned out to be a good conversational topic where most of us, regardless of belief, came together and discussed something that 9 times out ot 10 turns in to that whole going to hell in a handbasket thing, this without it getting out of hand or heated (minus one dumb remark). Did it give ME anything personally? Yeah, I think I have a better understanding of some of ya'll crazy people on here I dare to call friends .. and I respect them just a little bit more! And for someone who comes from a pretty much a predominantly atheist country like I do, NOT being prosecuted for MY beliefs while having a constructive debate on this subject is pretty interesting and dare I even say rewarding.

Lemme guess .. the one where he talks about the atheist who believes he will fertilize a tree when he dies .. then some donkey chops the tree down, chips it, makes paper out of it and then prints the bible on it!? Yes, I've seen it, do a search on Dane Cook on YouTube, it's all over the place .. personally I can't stand Dane Cook, regardless of the atheist crack which I actually thought was pretty funny the first time I heard it... Then again, I'm VERY picky about stand up comedy (the wife and I go see someone performat least a couple of times/month) and he just doesn't fit my sarcastic, cynic, political satire flavor of comedy I personally prefer .. Now, you gimme some George Carlin which I've seen live a few times, or some Denis Leary ... Dave Attell which show had me hurtin' for days, Dave Chapelle, Christopher Titus (hell of a nice guy by the way), John Witherspoon .. etc etc ...

LoL, yea thats it. Guy I work with started doing stand up comedy because of George Carlin. If i remember correctly he brought in a cd of him, and 1 of the parts he started getting frustrated with an exotic breast. It was pretty loud throughout the kitchen and our manager thats a stiff found it somewhat humerous.

The guy I work with now does Wednesday Kokanee Comedy at the casino, and will be doing a tour throughout Alberta. Overally nice guy but once he tells 1 joke, he goes around telling everyone that walks by about it, maybe even twice if your lucky [&:]
