I dont think gm would kill the hummer brand if they got stuck with it. The h3's sell and the h2's sell like hot cakes in Russia and in other certain areas. The thing is they are trying to fix there image and just cut down the amount of stuff to manage and they are fighting the go green wave.The brand makes money though. People need to realize some of these "green" cars have a bigger carbon foot print then the hummers. The hybrid toyota prius for example between all its parts coming from all over and being shipped around for assembly and the damage the big hybrid batteries do when they need to be disposed of. It makes the hummer look like a bicycle as far as damage to the earth. People need to look at facts and the bottom line not just some people being annoyed cause something looks over the top and being expensive. Gm can really fix the bad rap by making the hummers have a optional clean diesel engine and some other changes but those salary guys at the top dont wanna make money by being creative I guess.
