Just filled up the tank, when I went to put the nozzle in I noticed the little metal flap is missing. Tank filled just fine- should I worry that it will block the fuel lines since it is probably sitting in the tank somewhere?

 

An how the heck could I get it out?

 

Never had one on mine. Must have fallen in with the previous owner. Never had a problem either with it. I don't think it could block the fuel line because the filter would block it. But I don't know for sure, but I know that I never had a problem with it and that flap is probably still in the tank as far as I know.
