RE: DMF -- sand extraction --how NOT to do
You didn't notice the angle of that pull (90 degrees) or how the 2 nearly rolled over on it's side?
Maybe it's just me, but that looked awful crazy/dangerous and goes against every thing I was ever taught
about vehicle recovery. To me it looked like they had other, more sane options.
Personally I thought it was a recipe for disaster (But that is just my opinion and we all know about opinions)

that was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen....first how do you bury ONLY the right side...wheels at full right lock (actually starting to move before MORON man almost turned it over) possibly try to drive straight out? ..the TC was obviously not on.......the only thing more outrageous than the video was the "utubers" comments (by the way why is a video camera always available?)
"The man from the land of sand, Florida and OBX"
You can get anything stuck in the sand but it takes a special talent to bury a HUMMER, even an H2

TC was on unless he had pulled the fuse .. and quite frankly, he would've had a better shot at getting out with it off than off .. gotto have that additional wheel spin ability in the deep stuff ...
As far as burying an H2 in sand .. the weight of the vehicle works against it there ... better deflate them tires good yetit will still happen ...

Looked to me like they all needed to be educated. Just a bunch of holigans in four wheel drives. So the Toy got some traction and the H2 was hung. Enough camels tied on the front would have done the same thing. Maybe not roll it like that, but the objective was to get it out. It still doesen't prove the flea infested cud spitters would find their way into my garage.
