Dim Headlights/no marker lights
Hey guys I have a 2006 h3 with 70k miles on it, I’m having quite the issue and can’t seem to figure fire it out! Help please!!! My hummer has very dim headlights and no day time running lights/marker lights. I’m at a loss I checked and tested all of the fuses and relays what could I possibly be missing here??

Hi,
On our two H3 both sets of marker lights just burnt out around the same time. The replacement of the bulb is documented already so just Google it.
As far as day time running lights are you sure the bulbs are good?
Have you changed your cable ends for the negative and positive battery connection's????
Have you verified that any and all relays, grounds and switches are good???

Best first mod to do to every H3/H3T is to replace the factory crappy Battery Terminal Connectors with a quality aftermarket set, like Stingers or your favorite brand.
Have you checked the voltage at the headlight sockets? While in there clean the connectors with electrical contact cleaner.
I agree w/ HH, make sure you do not just need new running light bulbs, your miles are low, but the truck is pushing 13 years old.

I have checked all the fuses and relays, the battery terminal connectors have been replaced already with stingers, and the bulbs are brand new, they work in another vehicle but don’t in the h3. I’ve traced all the circuits and the grounds are hooked up I haven’t checked voltage yet I need different test leads

There was a guy on here a while back that could not get his headlights to work. I encouraged him to pull the bulbs and spray the connector sockets with electrical contact cleaner. After he did, he reported back they worked. As these trucks age, connectors can get fuzzy/poor connections, try that on the running lamps. Easy stuff first.
