I like the Illinois idea, not too far from me[8D]

Would be cool, might see if I could get my son to caravan the wifes out there also

 

Especially if we could get out there around State Fair time....

Illinois works fine for me. Mid to late summer would be fine. probably kind of hot and humid in Illinois about then. Only place I spent much time there is in Chicago. It was cold and windy in winter and hot/humid in summer. Wouldn't bother me but some of the ladies might not think it was perfect. That said Illinois in the summer is fine.

 

I think it's the same as we get here. It isn't that bad.

Do you have anywhere to go offroad there? Or would this just be more of a gathering? Either way is good, especially since we have a pretty good mix of offroad rigs and Pavement pounders

 

How far is Upstate NY from Illinois? I don't have a map handy....in fact, I don't think I have a map at all

 

Not sure but a lot closer than Southern California. I would guess 7-800 miles.

 

what did I miss and where is everyone going?

 

possibly trying to plan a trip/get together for next summer for all of us.
