FINALLY! Called the dealer and the TB is on the lift. They have gone through rear diff, and working on tranny now.. shy of some much needed new tranny fluid ZERO issues so far. Next up is the front diff, t-case, and then a quick throw on the alignment equipment to make sure I didn't throw it off (I still think it felt a wee bit different driving it but ..) when I took those hard hits in the creek ...

As I was hoping, nothing but fluids being in dire need of replacement. I opted to have them do the 50K maintenance since I'm at 48 and change. I had my oil done about 1K ago so they took that off and cut me a $40 spot worth of slack. Diff fluids were Baaaa-aaaaaaaad, tcase not so bad, tranny .. well I think the word used was attrocious LOL! He also said it looks like I have lost a couple of weights off my tires so they are rebalancing, alligning, and rotating for me, free of charge. And now to the reason why I'll never take it elsewhere ... was told I had some mud left underneith but got most of it myself .. he said there's no way we're returning your truck "dirty" and with the trail rash. So they are washing it, buffing it out and waxing it for me, of course .. no charge ...

All in all I ended up with a $782 dollar bill but I needed to go in and get this done regardless. If nothing else this eases my mind for the upcoming trip on the 29th knowing I'm all good and up to date on the maintenance bit as well.

Thank ya!!
Yeah, they always do. The Service manager is part owner in the dealership as a whole and a very avid offroader .. this makes things soo much easier I think. He knows exactly where I'm coming from and he stands by these vehicles no questions asked. If it breaks offroading it breaks doing what it's supposed to do, we'll fix it against warranty, that goes without saying, end quote.
I'm going to buy the extended warranty for it now that I'm getting in to this more and more. It was one thing when it was garage kept over the winters (I had two other vehicles besides the H2up until last October) and never saw any mud or anything .. now .. I see a need for it!

I tend to agree. Where HummerMike works, they charge either $499 or $599 for that service. It's actually a package where they are, but the do alot more. I think the even pull your CV boots out and relube the joints and all that. I think it's rediculous, period, that any dealer would charge that much to unscrew a plug , drain your fluids, then fill them back up. You can do all that in your garage for the price of just the fluids, BUT, if you want to do it, GO for it
