I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the weight/load capacity is for a defender rack. I am thinking of getting one but need it to carry about 300-400 lbs. in gas, water and cargo, is this possible. If not does anyone have any other suggestions for a rack aside from building one. Thanks

 

for 300-400lbs the only thing I would feel safe using would be a gobi rack... that's alot of weight, the gobi mounts around the roof line in over 8 points much stronger and sturdier than anything else Ive seen to date.
