O.K. buying a hummer H3 which one? 09 I5 dam good shape 70,000 miles/ or 08 alpha dam good shape 70,000 miles ? i am not familiar with either engine pros/cons! any input would be great! thanx

 

Are the Adventure/Offroad package trucks? Hard to pass up the V8 but a front locker is nice also. If not Adv. Pkg trucks I would go for the Alpha.

 

Given a choice go for alpha the power of v8 will keep you happy if future wheel and tire upgrades do happen, and passing power on road is way better

 

As 3hummers said. Is one or both an adventure/OffRoad package H3?

If you are going to wheel it that might be a deciding factor.

If it's just going to be a street rig go Alpha.

It really depends on what you want from the rig.
