Default Decent pricing on H3?

Hello,

I'm looking at getting a new 2010 H3, currently I have a 2008 H3 Adventure on a lease that's up in 2 weeks. The one I'm looking at is 2010 Black Adventure, Sunroof, & Tow with an MSRP at $39,820. GMS originally was $35,912, but now they are telling me with the program change on Jan 5 that they were wrong and it is now $37,486 for GMS, but since they told me the original one that they will honor it by digging into their kickback for the difference. There is $3000 dealer cash and $1000 customer loyalty, so all said and done $33,486.

Any opinions on whether this is a good price or not? What are you guys/gals paying?

Thanks!
- Josh

What about a used one? I just purchased a 2007, 40K loaded for 21. Still under warranty and you can get more options for the money. There are a bunch around me. Like 80 in a 200 mile radius.

But if you got the money, get a new H3T. I got a price a Lynch Hummer (St. Louis) for a 2010 black, 3.7l, auto base H3T for 29K out the door.

I am much happier with the loaded 2007. jayjensen.shutterfly.com

I was at Lynch yesterday and they had sold the H3T.

I've thought about a used, but really would like the full warranty. The 2009 and 2010 adventures have the front and rear lockers as opposed to just the rear, but truth be told I don't do enough off road to really warrant them. The other thing is the adventure does have the monsoon, which is pretty nice, especially when compared to the stock system. I did find a base 2009 brand new with sunroof, autotrans, chromepack, and chrome rims at a different dealer, and with the 6k incentive plus a little dealer incentive is 28k. The 09's also have the bluetooth but I guess an aftermarket stereo would give me that too. Just tough weighing the options!

I have been asking the same question. What engine does the 2010 have?

I am almost almost certain we will be buying our H3 Alpha this Saturday and the price is $39,973.00 before tax and license.

So $45,000.00 out the door.

I have an '07 Adventure which doesn't have the Monsoon, which is a good thing IMHO. The Monsoon sub-woofer kills one of the storage compartments in the back & I'd rather have the storage. That way I always have my first aid kit and minimal tool/offroad supplies with me. If I want a better stereo system, I'll buy aftermarket and keep the storage and anyway booming bass just ain't my thang.

I would suggest getting a audio system you want installed and not the monsoon, I just got my truck back on saturday from the audio place I had a new head unit put in,a 10" sub, amp, and back up camera installed. In the Back door they were able to do a fiberglass box. Ill be getting pictures up sometime this week on it to show others in case they are considering upgrading their stereo system. The only thing that might be looked at as a down side is I had to put my jack under a seat. The whole system cost about 1400 installed and quality verse the monsoon cant be compared. I would suggest trying to find a 09 if still possible, If not just be careful on features and upgrades some are not needed or there are better alternatives. In my opinion acourse.

Thanks for the replies. A 2009 that was on a deal that fell through, became available and I moved on it. Its a base with autotrans, sunroof, chrome pack, and chrome rims. I don't like the rims though so I think I'll try to find some stock rims or other and I'd like to get a pair of 33-35's maybe for tires. The tires on this truck are just too small looking IMO. Sticker was 37,500 got it for 27,900 so better than I was looking at on a 2010 but less options also. I like the idea of doing the upgrades on my own, definitely will make out better. I think I'll look around for a used Pioneer, it seems quite a few are using those NAV units and getting all the add-ons like ONstar, Bluetooth harness, rearview as you mentioned.
