In mypersonal opinion and experience..There is nothing easier and more scratch proof than Micro-fiber towels..I use them on about anything and everything that I care about NOT scratching..For example, the Plastic lens on the Speedo cluster is about the first thing to get scratched when wiping off lint and cough and or sneeze spit with a typical terri-cloth towel..With Micro-Fiber, it never scratches and cleans perfectly.

When it comes to washing...a Micro-fiber washing mitt is the way to go.

 

I personally have not had any problems with the Micro-Fiber cloths that I have and still use them on my vehicle. I was just pointing out that some are better quality than others.
