the first h3's had the side marker lights come as their daytime running lights. this does look to bright and ugly to me. the newer ones have the headlight daytime running lights. the healight ones dont bother me.

oh ok, cause my headlights are ALWAYS on, when its on as a DRL they are a little dimmer then when they are as headlights (I held a flashlight to the sensor one night to test it) Also on mine if you turn the drl's off with the switch you get an annoying warning chime everytime you stop and go, seems like everytime the tranny goes into first it chimes at you....annoying as hell!!

I hate them! I always turn them off once I see my trucks reflection in the car in front of me!

sooooo... Does anyone know how to disable the ugly side marker DRLs? there has to be an easy way to do this.. or at least Switch the default so that they are OFF by default and you can turn them on...

ok. After a series of test in my garage. i've come to the conclusion that you can just pull the fuse. lol... its DRL #39 i have the headlights as daytime running lights but im thinking it works the same for both. pull the fuse and the auto lights still work. The daytime running lights just dont turn on.
